Hello, Lovely Soul Drop!
How are you feeling right now? Take your time to think about it…
…done?
Let’s begin today’s post!
People look at me as someone confident that isn’t scared of anything, but in reality, I’m terrified of many things! I’m afraid of not being good enough, I’m scared of wasting my time, I’m frightened of never finding my way, I’m petrified by the idea that people will cancel me due to my opinions, and that I’ll never find a job or be able to build the life I want. Those are only a few of my fears. As you can see, I’m just like any other human out there.
I desire love, wealth, success, health, and peace. I’m no different from most humans on Earth. Same as the other 8 billion people sharing this realm with me; I want to avoid as much suffering as possible and get as much pleasure as I can. That’s the nature of our brains. However, I’m aware that pain is also a wonderful teacher. I don’t have to go out of my way to find pain because life is incredibly hard. Everyone suffers regardless of whether they want to or not. Most people have many obstacles, worries, fears, and things they are uncomfortable with.
What’s my point? I’m far from alone. I was drowning only within my mind. The fear had paralyzed me! Not anymore. I’m ready to keep moving, to keep making an effort, and to improve myself in any way I can. I keep this newsletter, my blog, and my podcast because I love them. I don’t expect billions of people (or dollars) to flow in. I work on them because my biggest reward is to read the final result. If I’m not earning money or becoming famous, is it worth it? I believe it is. Even if only two people get to read (one of them being my mother and the other my partner) and they love it, then I’m happy. I feel accomplished.
Everyone I admire has struggled to get to where they are, everyone I’m proud of is as human as I am, and everyone around me is full of dreams, desires, and fears just like I am. I created a discord server for people who wish to combine empathy and critical thinking to improve themselves, and 80 people joined. The world is filled with people who are struggling yet staying alive despite the pain. You reading this right now; you’re one of us. You’re someone who wants to be better each day. Thanks for existing; your life makes a difference in this world.
Thank you so much for reading! Here’s the latest blog post.
